On most forums the "quote" button inserts a quote from another person into your text and it's highlighted with the user name so you know who said it. On here that does not seem to be the case, and if you use it then it simply copies the text with no reference to where it came from, who said it, or diferentiating it from our own wording in the post?

Have I missed somthing or is this just the way it is??

Hi James,

Noted, yes we may perform an upgrade to help with editing. If we can make this select the highlighted text we will.

To add a name to a quote use the @ symbol - then type the first few letters of the user and it should allow you to select the user name.

Thanks
