Recently bought a FX Wildcat MkIII and after successful first use, (6 rabbits), before de-rigging and setting aside I noticed a noise from the head stock, next to my ear, of something sounding slack and sliding when pointing the gun down or up when shouldered. After initial alarm I put it down to the pellets remaining in the mag. However, after returning to it later (with no mag mounted) I can hear the same noise. Something slides back and forward within as the elevation is raised or depressed.
Any clues? for my case before I travel to return to the seller

thats completely normal

All Fxs do this

its the free floating hammer and spring system

this design is what gives us the super low FPS spread

Giles did an entertaining video about this a few years ago.
